Virgin River Half Marathon

This is Southern Utah's longest running half marathon! This spectacular race is on paved city trails that wind along the Virgin River and take you through the beautiful landscape of St. George! Click the link above to register now!!

 

Expo & Packet Pickup Information: Friday, February 13th, 2026 from 4:00PM-8:00PM at the Dixie Convention Center located at 1835 S Convention Center Dr., St George, UT 84790. If you cannot pick up your packet on Friday, you must inform us prior to the expo to ensure you receive your bib. There will be no bib assignments on the morning of the race.

      -   Half Marathon: 9:00AM
      -   10k: 9:20AM
      -   5k: 9:15AM

      -   Fun Run Walk n' Roll: 11:00AM

With the ongoing additions to the Virgin River Trail system we plan to revise the courses so you'll run entirely on the trails in 2026.  We'll keep you up to date on the changes as they happen. Our goal is to avoid the neighborhoods so you can enjoy even more of our fantastic St George trails!

Aid Station Information: Aid stations will be located at approximately every 2-3 miles. Water and Gatorade will be available at each aid station and power gel will be available at 2 or 3 of the aid stations.

Time Limits: Please be aware that all athletes must finish the half marathon in 3 hours and 30 minutes- roughly a 16-minute mile. Athletes who have not finished by this time will be allowed to stay on the course but will not have course support, the clock will be stopped and taken down, and those over 3.5 hours will receive a DNF (did not finish) in the official results.

Award and Medals: The top three male and female finishers in each race will receive an award. In the half marathon, the top three male and female finishers in each 5-year age category will receive awards. In the 10k and 5k, the top three male and female finishers in each 10-year age category will receive awards. All participants who finish their respective race will receive a finishers medal.

10K:
      -  $45 until January 5th, 11:59PM MST
     -   $55 until February 2nd, 11:59PM MST
     -   $65 February 13th (Packet Pick-up)
     
5K:
      -   $35 until January 5th, 11:59PM MST
     -   $45 until February 2nd, 11:59PM MST
     -   $55 February 13th (Packet Pick-up)

Fun Run Walk n' Roll: 200 Meter, and 1-Mile:
     -   $15 Until February 2nd, 11:59PM MST
     -   $25 February 13th (Packet Pick-Up)
